Curtain goes up Nov. 7-8 for MHS fall play ‘The Real Story of Alice in Wonderland’

The Mexico High School Drama Club will bring a witty twist to a classic tale with its fall production of “The Real Story of Alice in Wonderland” by Kristen Doherty.
Performances will take place Friday, Nov. 7, and Saturday, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m. both nights in the Avery Skinner Auditorium at Mexico High School.
Tickets are $5 presale or $7 at the door. To purchase tickets in advance, contact Director Cassie Monnat via CMonnat@mexicocsd.org.
The show reimagines Lewis Carroll’s well-known story, asking audiences to consider whether Alice was truly the sweet, innocent girl the storybooks made her out to be — or something else entirely. Two narrators battle it out on stage, each offering their own version of the whimsical and topsy-turvy one act tale.
