Mexico Middle School students and staff recently took to the waves and under the sea for their 2025 musical production of The Little Mermaid Jr.

There were three performances, with audiences packing the seats for each.

With music by Alan Menken and the book by Doug Wright, the musical tells the tale of Princess Ariel and the journey to find her legs in this tale based on the Christian Anderson story and Disney film.

The musical is directed by MS chorale and music educator Rebecca Smith, with Alena Fresch as the assistant director and choreographer.
